4th annual family fishing tournament. First year was Nippissing, then Penetang Harbour/Waubashene, then Penetang Harbour/Waubashene and this year Buckhorn.

The criteria is how impressive is the fish size for that species and also for the lake it was caught in. We were evenly split in this debate.

The LMB weight in at 3 lb 9oz.

The muskie is by no means big for a muskie but muskie are hard to catch.

But considering it was Buckhorn, perhaps the LMB is more impressive? The big LMB in the 2nd pic is the same fish.

It came down to my bro in law Dan and his mom.

I also included my 4 biggest of the weekend.

Mom takes it this year for sure.
That's also what I said. And he conceded victory to her. What son wouldn't? Especially when it was that close and his name is already on the trophy. But if it was a monster then he'd have to accept victory. A monster like this pic attached, which is his PB and was on Georgian Bay.

By the way, was also on here last year asking the same question but between a 3lb largie and 27" pike. The pike was pretty much unanimous.

Funny thing was that I took her out on my inflatable around 7:30pm and she was using a topwater frog, which could work at that time, but we weren't finding that many fish in the pads. They were more in that grass away from the shore and in the weeds like 4 feet down. She saw me nail that 2.5 pounder, which put me in the lead during this 2 day tourney and she immediately switched over to the red senko I was throwing. 10 minutes later she nails a 2.5 pounder. 5 mins later she hooks up to that 3.5 pounder. And then it got dark and we had to leave that honey hole.

MOM. Even if it wasn't the nicest, but it is the nicest :) , it would still be nice to see "MOM" on the trophy.
