I am not completely sure, but maybe another member can help you out. I know FishChris has posted some of the white bass he was caught.

Its a White Bass...the White Perch doesn't have all those lines on the sides..

Key identifying characteristics:
  • dark spots in horizontal lines, often faint and irregular
  • second anal spine distinctly shorter than third

hmmm this could be very exciting... either you have a huge White/Silver bass or you caught yourself a "Whiper", "Wiper", a cross between a Striped Bass and a White Bass! They have been caught in Ontario in the past few years east of Toronto, in Hamilton Harbour, down on the Detroit River.... very cool!

it is a Wiper or a very large White Bass... fantastic!

..... your fingers are covering the hortizontal lines, if they are "broken" in places it is possibly a Wiper

thats a hog if its a white bass, theyre good eating too and you would actually get a decent fillet off that one.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Wow I've never even heard of a Wiper until now, that could be an interesting possibility.

White Bass for sure also know as Silver Bass. That one looks like it was feeding like crazy

white bass, white perch don't get that large and should also add that white perch's mouth area is more pink in color, the white bass's mouth is very white :D
