Hey guys

Just wanted to know a good place to fish for White Suckers and what is a good time of year?

I want to use them for catfish bait I've been buying cut bait and would like to catch my own bait.
Some of the locations I seen on the web say the Credit river and the Hamilton Harbor are good places to round up White suckers.

Any help would be great;)

Hollywood,

Not Hamilton Harbour but Spencer's Creek which flows into Coote's Paradise marsh at the back of Hamilton Harbour. They even have a sucker derby there in Dundas. Although the fish barrier that the RBG operates has resulted in a huge decrease in the run, they are still there in the spring. Bronte Creek should get a decent run of suckers too. The Grindstone Creek also gets a good number of suckers. It flows into Hamilton Harbour at Valley Inn Rd. Unfortunately the RBG has reduced the number of parking spots down there to 10 so the steelheaders fill it up pretty quick in the spring.

Wow! Tons of great information there! Thanks! I was looking to do the same as Johnny and get ready for the catfish in the spring at Dunville. Hope some members don't think this is against the rules, like they did for FishHawks post.
