Best way to find out is to head down and take a look

I totally understand guys!! I will take the 2+ hr drive soon i think and check it out a bit. Little about me i lived in Lindsay area growing up and did lots of fishing locally , Bass, Muskie, pickrel etc.. I would travel down to New Castle , Port Hope, Bomanville etc and do lots of spring and fall salmon/trout fishing. After grad, moved to Vancouver to help with the launch of a software company. Just moved back last yr and now live in Kitchener, Ontario. Been enjoying the pike, pickrel and nice bass all summer but the itch is now back for the tribs, i was def spoiled out west with the fishing but nothing beats fishing your home land and where you grew up " my opinion"

Maybe some people will share this question,

Have the runs through wilmot decreased over the past 15-17 years alot? or is it pretty much the same? more after opinions .. I did notice when i went on google earth to find some of my old hunny spots i couldnt believe all the houses etc that are close now!! I had decent luck last fall but the numbers were down a fair amount from what i seen but i also heard the run was a little scattered last yr due to weather id imagine

Funny how that river gets so pounded... Put in the leg and driving work gents, there's lots of water out there, and plenty more fish then the stink hole!

I dropped by it for the first time in 5 years (Stink Hole) on late Wed, coming back from Port H.

There were 6-7 guys there at 4:30 am. We didnt even walk down with our poles.

NADDA!

5-6 dead ones on the shore and floating around.

Maybe some guys just LIKE the SMELL?

I dream of a world where only the salmon that bite get caught, but then hardly anyone would catch them

Hiya Fullboat:

There are any number of folks here who frequent said system--pms will normally exact some info...

The system has come under extreme pressure over the past years, not to mention the wisdom of allowing housing development too nearby. I have decided to "help" relieve some of the pressure by no longer fishing that system (not that it will do any good, for I fear that creek is short lived).

Agreed, it gets extreme fishing pressure. I could only imagine what it was like 15 years ago, Now a days you'll find and see a lot of garbage, nonsense and questionable behaviour if you fish the lower stretches. It's actually quite disgusting.
