With new braids comming out which one to use

Hey
There new types of braids comming out or have come come out. Some are suppoed to be rounder, some smoother for casting. I use power pro. A rep at Bass Pro Shop tolde a lot of fishermen use it out this way (Oshawa) as it is made here so it is in every shop. So my question is which one is best for all around fishing and is there one better for a 6 year pld to use?

I have always used Spiderwire Camo Braid and I love it. Ive gotten out snags that you cannot get out with mono and probably one of the best braids out there, just my 0.2
