They updated the x-rap color patterns with some holographic layering, and I'm reallly liking the updated silver/black & also the yellow perch (not the standard "perch") pattern:

i will for sure... the one im going to is the mississauga one just east of dundas and dixie. but yeah ill let you know.

X-Raps work just awesome, the wife got me some for the first time last year, and they were deadly. Liked them so much, I now have 15 in my box, and always wanting to add more.

This lure does work I attest to that!!! You can catch pretty much anything from Pike to both LM and SM Bass with the x-raps I like this lure and it really does cast well you can get some nice distance with minimal effort. Last year my friends were very surprised when I was casting these bad boys further then they were able to cast their regular original rapalas.

well i went to lebaron and i ended up getting two the red hot and the black and grey. they do look nice and the fact that they are neutral bouyancy sounds like it would be a good lure. we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah they should be quite sweet, I've been a fan of shad-raps for a while now, always wondered why they hadn't made a shad-rap xrap sooner since it was a very popular lure. My fav is using my deep-diving glass perch shad rap, in the harbor area, the bass seem to always follow it downtown.

Uh oh!. "the bass seems to always follow it downtown"

I'm not sure if this is true or not but I believe that in June, Bass Pro Shops is having a Rapala sale, so it might be good to wait until then to stock up. The last sale they had, they were selling the xrap for 5.49.

What's their price on it normally spinninreel?

I'm really really tempted to wait and stock up on fishing tackle the next time I go to visit my brother in Ohio.

I think it is around $8.00.

Hmm, not too bad. I need to basically assemble a tackle box, is BPS the place to do it? I know they've got a great selection but price is an issue too.

BPS is great when they have sales, if you can't wait, I would go to LeBaron. Generally speaking LeBaron has better pricing (my personal opinion) on lures and tackle but they do not have as big a selection.

i think this lure will be real good in terms of catching fish for sure.
