Yamaha 9.9 throttle question

So I've recently mounted my '92 Yamaha 9.9 on my boat as a kicker. I'm wondering if there is a throttle adaptor I can add so that I can run it from the console. Any input would be great. Thanks

It depends how handy you are! You can buy a shifter cable and manufacture a connector on motor end, and then build your own throttle lever for the other end. Its really not very difficult.

I’m sure you can add a remote throttle and steering option on the 9.9 but I know for a fact it will be worth more than the 9.9. I’ve seen some clients put an extension handle that’s jointed so you can stand and operate the throttle. I believe the part is sold by Minn Kota.
