Over the course of the last week I have gone through a huge change in routine and as a bit of a reward a couple friends and I have planned a trip up to yellowknife to visit some relatives. Now I know the fishing in the Northwest territories is phenomenal which is why I am posting here. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on location, people to contact ect... We will likely spend most of the time on the fly and are hoping to cross off grayling and pike from the bucket lists. Any and all information is welcomed.

cheers,

Great slave has pike and monster lake trout as well as white fish and a couple other things. The rivers in the area hold arctic char, grayling and I think dollys too. Depending on when, where and what you wanna target there are lots of options. The tree river is one spectacular spot to target some of the largest char in the world.

If I had the chance to fish there I'd fish pike, grayling and inconnu, but if you're there anytime before june you're going to need a good gas auger and about 6 extensions lol!
