Exactly what the title says, but rather than say "a new rod, hooks and line".. give specifics!

How would you spend $500???

st croix imperial 7wt switch rod, with a sage 1880 spool for my reel, with a skagit line system, any money left over goes to fly tying materials

ask my dad for another 200 bucks and get a kingpin zeppelin
um , even the regular colour zeppelin is going to cost you 847.50 dollars without shipping, not sure how you did your math.

now what would i buy? only things i want i can't buy from any store, they are all custom. but would save 200 more and get cts rod.

if i dont need anything like rod or reel. i would save 500 dollars and buy terminal tackle, bait, stuff like that. i dont even try and every time i go to a fishing store i come out spending 45 bucks. that is 10 trips.

Beer and a hooker, oops I have to spend it at a store! LOL

Just more tackle, have enough rods and reels. Maybe some fancy fishing duds. :) Or if all else failed some new arrows for my bows.

I'd spend most of it on expensive fluorocarbon and replacement hooks for lures.

I have no freakin idea. I'd either ask the store employee what get or ask one of you peeps to come help me out ;-)
I'm ig'nant but learning. If I was left to my own devices I would probably get distracted by shiney things and not necessarily make the smartest purchases, lol.

an islander and a new pair of wading boots.

edit:forgot i snapped my stick today lol i guess id buy a pair of boots and a new rod. thinking of a streamside or low end raven "im6,matrix".

That's like 25 lap dances...I'd buy a good wader and warm winter jacket and hangout with the rest of the hardcore steel headers..my gear is alright...

I would trade it with a gas gift card. That covers the gas money for 30 trips. Enough to get me to April :)
But if has to be in a tackle store, then an Orvis Pro wading jacket
