ya i have seen them used for bait before at Bronet Pier, a guy was using a really small hook with a bobber up about 4ft, he would hook one, switch to a bigger hook and hook it on then toss it out. He was catching everything bass and sheephead, man he was nailing them. I think that their are sooo many goby's outtheir its an easy lunch for anything really.
I dont suyggest it to anyone , cause even though the chances are good that when you hook a goby on and toss it out it will die you are legally not allowed, the MNR wants you to kill it not use it for bait.
