Zone 16 pike opener

Just wondering if anyone made it out in zone 16 for the pike opener today. Beautiful weather for the most part today.

i did some research and seen that theres pike all along the thames river in london so im gonna try that this comming week maybe monday. not expecting too much but hey it will be my first pike.

How did everybody do? I went out yesterday and managed to only catch a OOS smallie that was released promptly. Still waiting for the pike to come out and play

Cheers! they only one we brought in after 4hrs out. My buddy had one on but his leader failed, to bad when he got it in close it was a big boy!! Made mine look like a bait fish.

Good news is they are out there, just have to know where .

Nice teether. I'm about to head out and try for em again. My lake is getting nice and warm and activity is starting to pick up nicely.

Couple of buddies and I made it out on the opener. Two of us caught 4 and lost another 4 in just over an hour, nothing over 22", just a few snot rockets. It was great though!

I was out fishing yesterday and caught one within 10 minutes of trying out a new spot! Sorry for being topless was a hot one yesterday!
