Personal attacks

 

As per our forum guidelines:

 

It is therefore the policy of this board that members are asked to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner:

 

• Feel free to share knowledge, experiences, opinions, or anything else that you wish... the point is to learn and have fun.
• If you disagree with something someone has said, feel free to say so, but do it courteously.
• Insults, threats, and flames are not welcome.

 

The moderators will be monitoring board traffic, and will take action if required to maintain a friendly atmosphere. Nobody wants to be oppressive in enforcing these policies.

 

 

Effective immediately, all members who disregard the highlighted portions above will be given a 24 hour “cooling off” period. During that time, posting ability will be disabled. After 24 hours, posting ability will be returned.  The length of the cooling off period will be increased beyond 24 hours for repeat offenders.

sometimes it just gets thick real quick, some comments/attacks were too personal also, IMO, just tossing in my 2cents,

Also agreed. I haven't noticed anything lately but I know in the past some just get a little, "bold" shall I say, sitting at their computer desks or smart phones.

really haven't seen anything overly offensive in my short time here but glad to see reminders like this none the less.

Good, i remember a couple of guys who made some personal attacks that have now been banned, let's keep the community fishing orientated,

-Tightlines and floats down
