are those the ones that end up in front of your bumper and on the windsheild?
Possibly, but on a fishing note; their the sometimes huge black swarms of tiny flies that usually nag the s**t out of you while your casting

ahhh, them tiny little buggers, i usually rub myself with dryer sheets before heading out specially mid summer when the bugs and mosquitoes are out in full force, makes me quite hard to track for them, LOL!!!

Dryer sheets huh? Seriously? hmm, never heard of that.

I use Deep Woods, but the only thing I dont like about it is that there are still those few brave flies that fly too close to you, and they often get stuck to you because of it. Your clothes, your bare skin, everything.

So I'm just looking for other alternatives.

I purchased a non-greasy formula of Deep Woods for the season, so lets see how that works. :???:

I buy a cheap can of axe spray and use it as a flame thrower. Keeps em away. And its fun to watch then drop like little fire balls from the air haha..

I use the OFF! fan that clips onto your belt. It actually works, but only if you are stationary.
Hmmm, thought about those. But didnt seem all that effective to me. :???:

They work ok for you? Or is something still biting your ankles
