Fishing for salmon & trout

Anyone know and good areas in st. Catharine's for salmon or trout? Went to trib/port and caught a nice 5lb + lake trout and other people were catching 15lb + salmon but since that night my friend and I have been skunked. Any tips would be great

dont be afraid to explore google maps and find some less known tribs too bud!
some not too far from you will be holding fish and no pressure

Seems like that big harbour with a dam has a few sammies around and possibly the big pool below a big waterfall by the US side

Other than that, what few little creeks we have don't seem to have any yet. Plus some of these little creeks is kind of like shooting fish in a barrel. A little creek near me has gotten a bad name due to all the snaggers that call it home at midnight. Always a few dead salmon that have been stepped on in the grass. Okay if you want to fish them legit, like putting a big pink crankbait in their face but other than that stick to the big water.
