    2 line rule

yes. Pretty much only allowed to use 2 lines ice fishing and lake Ontario - but even there are exceptions too. You can carry 100 rods ready to go but only 1 line in the water

Any recommendations for small lake by inflatable within 1 hour of Burlington?

Rhymo, The pike are definitely not gone yet, the last few weeks the bass have been ramping down but the pike are heating up. Having some good action at some places mentioned above. I live in Mississauga, fish from shore and more often than not travel less than an hour to fish. This guy joined...

    Haliburton Pike

I should also add that it has been 4 years since I got one bigger than 6 lbs... I see far too many people keeping 2 lb pikes at my usual haunts nowadays. Never personally eaten pike but isn't it so bony a 2 pounder isn't even worth it?

    Some days are lucky

I don't think so much it was the fishing pressure, we tried many spots on the water we were fishing, I think the biggest contributor to the fish avoiding us was the lack of cloud cover in the sky.. Water got warmer faster and the fish went deeper and farther out than I could reach from shore...

    Haliburton Pike

Hey all, Looking for specific information here, not general info or tips. I don't want tips on what to use, how to fish or when to fish. You don't have to post here, I'd actually prefer pm's. Family cottage in Haliburton, been going there all my life. I have spots for every kind of trout...

    Some days are lucky

Same place 2 days in a row with very similar conditions. 1st day by myself and it was a bit overcast but still blazing heat. Started for pike but realized trout were breaking the surface all around me so switched it up a bit and ... non freaking stop. I had a smoke in my mouth from 945 - 1030...

That was the smallest of the day too! That one was actually on some powerbait, but I had success with a husky jerk and 2 on live minnows too
