Medium action spinning with 8lb braided line...with the tension set right you can land anything with this set up. Having some f/c for a leader may help too tho!

There is a guy that fishes Simcoe alot, cant think of his name, but the jigs are named after him "meegs". They were introduced in 06 I beleive and now are a MUST for ice fishing Simcoe. BUT they are now being used year long and apparently the BEST thing to use on Simcoe. You dont really jig...
