Well I don't know what happened but I hit about 4 different spots within 8 hours yesterday and nothing bigger then a small perch. Hard fishing for some reason.

    Fishing today from brampton

Thinking of getting out for a day somewhere within an hour or so away anyone else want to head out from the area? I don't know many others from the area that enjoy the sport. Leaving in probably an hour.

    Bass fishing in humber river

I know when I go to a new spot myself I end up exploring too long rather then parking and either walking or doing what I need to do to get my line in the water.. It happens with new spots... remember for next time and get your line in the water and fish your heart out... don't wait for one thing...

As adults with responsibilities and a healthy reguard for not getting trespassing fines,,, has anyone ever gained permission to fish these areas... and how??? Some of my best fishing as a kid...

    Professor's Lake Brampton

caught a mit full of crappie in there a month ago. Went a week ago and nothing. When I caught the crappie I seen 2 huge lm bass swim right by me. The water is super clear these lm were easily over 4 lbs each. They also have carp, I hear they have pike too but never seen one myself. Might...

Carp don't fish by sight they wont take flys as far as I know. They smell for food largely. I'm no carp expert but I think your out of luck.

Do you believe moon phases affect the "bite"

All I know is most speices I catch durring the day. Crappie, Pike, LM bass. On full moons they may still bite throughout the night. Was fishing scarbourgh bluffs last fall in the dead of night for browns and hooked a pike at like 3 am.

One of the bass ponds has been ruined by idiots!

That is a shame... One of my least favorite things about fishing local ponds is that people see you fishing and it encorages them to try. I never keep anything from local areas nor fish out of season. I have a pond by my place that is like that with crappie...

Holland River (Bradford or Holland Landing)

from what I know the holland is best for crappie in the spring and fall. I fished the mentioned marina as well with mixed results. I caught a nice pike and some crappy there but other times its been dead... Looking around the area it has a long of biodiversity. Even seen a beaver in the area...
