I tried that stuff and found it to be outright garbage line. It beds like crazy, and after one outing was all knicked and frayed. I bought mine at HLS in guelph and im going to let Ray know how junk it is. Very soft and subtle line...but one outting its junk. I did fight one big bow on it, but...

Will be in florida this sat, was thinking to bring my switch rod and maybe try some coastal inlets. Any advice on places to try and what tippets / flies to use? Only ever boat fished there. Thx

Bouface streamers in Black and or Olive work really well for bass on the grand.

They dont show you the part where they take the hook out of its a$$.....lol. Took a walk up there one time just to see the place....an absolute gong show of hillbillys...lol.

I have the imperial and like the rod. FYI...hook line sinker in guelph has a demo kit of several types of lines they loan out to test / before you buy. Just a thought for anyone else concidering a rod and not quite sure of the line. The imperial is a nice affordable rod...im sure youll like it.

Love fishing snook. Do quite a bit of tarpon and snook fishing when ever im in Naples on holiday. Still waiting to latch onto a tarpon though...put bsit right on thier nose but no takers so far. Fished off Sanibel and Marco island on last years trip and caught some nice snook in the mangrove...

Very nice job. Love the lady Caroline. Nice job on the wings, tied a few myself and find the wings difficult to get nice and even. I think i clinch down too much on them. Yours look great though...very nice.
