... I have a few drop-offs on the Lake Erie shoreline around Port Colborne/Wainfleet I shall visit (avoiding the sancturaries) and some stretches of the Welland Canal I shall toss a crankbait.

.... Senkos are locked and loaded... i am fishing a gentle drop-off/slope 9 - 30 feet with a weedline (with pike also), senkos may be a tad early but I am dyin' to try'em after a long winter.... we need pics by Sunday midnight here!

....it's a nasty lil bugger. I caught one on a twister on a small Parry Sound District lake 10 years ago. That "spike" really is something to see and I can imagine how they can penetrate the stomach wall of a bass or pickerel. another hurdle our fisheries have to "overcome".... makes you wonder...
