The marabu craw pattern (The Thames Craw) is weighted and can be fished under floating line. As for the Hackle pattern you will need to add weight to the pattern ( a couple wraps of copper on the hook shank will do it) or use a sink tip or sinking line. You can always add a small split shot to...

This is my weighted Marabu/deer hair Crayfish/Shrimp pattern that I have thus far have had the most luck on in my area.That is next to my broad hackle claw pattern.
