    Reel-sidedness HELP

This basically covers all of it. It's all up to how comfortable you are. Some left handers like to reel with their left hand, but I like to hold the rod with my strong arm so I reel with my right. Whatever is comfortable for you should work fine.

    "Small" Toronto Tackle Shops?

They're both pretty good, but Bass City seems to carry more of the higher end stuff like curado and core reels and Kistler rods. Lucky is one of those places where I go when im about to head off and notice I'm missing some common gear like soft plastics or something. Kinda like the emergency...

    "Small" Toronto Tackle Shops?

Price wise, it has to be Bass City. Their selection isnt huge, but they try to compete with lebaron so their prices are even lower than lebaron's already low prices. The boss there used to run the tackle shop on midland and sheppard and he's a pretty nice guy.

One of the bass ponds has been ruined by idiots!

Isn't it also illegal to be dumping bass from one body of water to another? So the guy himself is also doing something illegal, he doesn't really have a right to go pointing fingers at poachers.

NEw to baitcast need a good reel

I also recommend the shimano caenan. It spins nearly as smooth as my curado 200E. Only thing I dont like is that it's graphite. Not sure how durable its going to be.

    Fishing Rod???

If you're thinking ugly stik, might as well go with the shimano voltaeus. It's like an upgraded ugly stik for an even lower cost.

    Asian Carp smuggling

Why are they even trying to smuggle it in? It's not like asian carp tastes good anyway.
