    they will likely be more scared by your line hitting the water or your fly slapping the water on your casts as you learn--the rod is not a concern...they will also see a dark ominous shape (human body) before they see a 4mm wide stick flying around,.,,you are all good

    my buddy went down today--this is not a fly fishing show--sad actually. but the money is in baitcasting...i did hear there is a noce brook trout pond where kids can repeatedly rip the gills off the same handful of fish lol

    i plan on using them in spring for brookies and such---nice emerger with bright wing on top --also look like a great fly to use on a dropper pattern as an "indicator" over a nymph, ihave tied several and gotten the the thumbs up from a friend of mine who ties very well..but man i keep putting...
