    Bluffers Park Carp

I can only assume it is because God created it that way. It's a Koi as far as I know and that is what they look like. Slimy bottom feeders like the carp you are probably more familiar with.

    Bluffers Park Carp

I haven't had the chance to fish much in the past few years and never really ventured far from Scarborough during the time I was. I would love to get to the islands and try some fishing though.

    hole in wall

It's not the size of the fish that counts, it's how... ya never mind.

    hole in wall

Guys, I think I know the place in question here. I can honestly say I have never fished there myself as I have never been that desperate. If you follow this link you'll see the spot. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2071/2405224372_86dd812870.jpg?v=0

    Bluffers Park Carp

That is an extremely good point. Please don't even consider eating the fish out of here.. I have seen people keep carp from this spot and that's just nasty.

    Bluffers Park Carp

Ya that's perfect. I was at Bellamy and Kingston but I moved out to Ajax in October. It's too bad, I am going to have to find a spot out here.

    Bluffers Park Carp

I can't be certain whether or not fish can come or go here. I have seen much larger carp in the marina area so I can only assume someone stocked this pond and they aren't growing to their maximum.

    Bluffers Park Carp

Well I believe it's a Koi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koi I am not sure how the carp fishing is right now, maybe someone else can chime in here? I only remember going between June and August. If you are close to the spot it wouldn't hurt to try it out and report back. Where exactly do you live?

    lost rod!

I did nearly the same thing fishing Lake Ontario for trout. Was busy talking and BAM this monster fish is on and my rod is half way in the water. Luckily it was swimming along side the shore and I was able to catch the rod before it took off. New rod and reel as well at the time.

    Bluffers Park Carp

Bluffers Park is located at the bottom of Brimley Road S. in Scarborough. You will want to keep right when you reach the bottom of Brimley Road and head towards the little pond area shown on the map below. The cross hair on the map shows the actual location I fished. I would always head to...

    Carpin?

That is the boat launch area, over by where the docks are on the right side.

    Carpin?

Here is another one that I got from Bluffers Park. It looks like I am scared of the fish, but in all honesty I just don't want it dripping on me haha.

    Carpin?

I took this picture of a carp that came out of Bluffers Park. I have seen some bigger ones but I didn't have a camera at the time.
