    Fishing license from Kiosk machine?

    I tried the kiosk last year and it will only renew your card if it has expired, not the yearly sticker. For those you still have to go to an outlet like Canadian Tire or BPS. As far as how long it takes for the card to come in the mail, the last time I had to get mine it was about 3 months...

    Best BASS Fishing Lakes in Ontario

    Forgot to mention, it's about a kilometer down river from the locks in Hastings, so if you wanted you could pop into Rice Lake. I found though that the area on the Trent is pretty quiet (and as a result under-fished), no boat raffic except for guys in their yachts coming through from Rice.

    We rented cottages at a place called The Reel Retreat. Nothing fancy, but right on the water, great price on the cottages and boat rentals, bait shop. Plus, you can see musky lurking for perch under the docks and carp wandering arouns the boat launch at night.

    I agree with the Trent in that area. I was at a cottage last year just outside Hastings and the fishing was great. Even though i didn't catch any monsters, there were tons of perch and rock bass, smallies, largies, walleye, muskie. Plus the cottage and boat rentals are really resonable, a lot...
