Props for the Ranger. Have a '09 Sport, myself. Mostly a bass guy, but I do go for some inland trout just to change it up. Other than the occasional humiliating attempt at tributary trout in winter and spring, I stick with pan fish until my big mouthed buddies are back in season.

Hope all don't mind me bringing up an older thread, but this stuff has always interested me. So much in fact that I keep my Old Farmers Almanac with in reach of my throne. I think there is a ton of merit to the moon having an effect on those fish! I caught my biggest smallie on a full moon...

Got my season pass secured for the sixth season in a row. I can't remember the last time I was this stoked for April. Lots of exciting young talent and Bautista's long ball. Still plenty of work to be done with the rotation and bullpen so I'm curious to see what AA is going to do about that...

Keep an eye out for sales from fall to spring Canoes and kayaks can go on sale for as much as %40 off. I picked up my little 8' sit-in kayak on sale for about $200 a while back at crappy tire. My buddy fishes out of a cheap rubber raft... with pointy hooks...!!
