Scugog Ice?

Haven't been up to Scugog this winter. How's the ice? Would those canals/channels be open? I'm staring at my light tackle, itchin' for some fishin'.

Most of the Kawartha Lakes that I saw this week were wide open! Balsam Lake is still iced over. Scugog should be totally ice free.

There is green algae booms along shore in couchiching already
