No problem my man, info is the key to sucess in life. Especially with fishing ;) haha. The thing was they were all over the shore's, literally, so the trout are most certainly feeding on them at the moment!

What the F is up with the whirlpool?

Haha i think i did almost more walking than fishing that day. I even climbed the big rocks on the right side to get near the shoot after the rapids there! Risking life and limb for a fish haha. No wait..for a trout ;), which makes it ok.

What the F is up with the whirlpool?

Sooo I'm not sure if it's just my luck, or possibly i molested a fish in a previous life, but everytime i go to niagara, i get shafted. The only excitment i see is maybe one, streetching it with two fish being caught all day, out of the dozen or so fishermen. I went today, again, for the third...

I still wouldn't have dropped it, thats my fish  Although all day I've been playing out how i would have approached the situation if there was a larger group, or if they surrounded me haha. But a. I'm not david attenborough and b. this is Mississauga, not Alaska! haha.. Speaking...

    Beaverton Trout and Whitefish

Hey guy's, so unfortunately it looks like this week and maybe the next are the last week's for ice fishing :( (they need a sadder face on here). My question is though, how's the trout and whitefish been in that area this week?. I'm going thursday and friday and was wondering what the prospects...

Heeey Blair! I'm glad i'm not the only one excited about this find haha. Fly fisher's should be loosing their sh!t with a hatch this early, march should be a pretty decent start if this weather keeps up. I'm still trying to pin point what these could be. The dragonfly is extremely close except...

Soooo after reading Float's post on the credit yesterday. I said screw Niagara and decided to try and pull some steel. Holy high water batman!. It's insane how much one rain storm can change a river so drastically in less than a day. I'd say by wednesday or thursday things should calm down, if...

Sweeeeetness! Good stuff float!..haha i'm so happy and i didn't even catch the fish :P. I totally should have listen to you going to the big C instead of niagara..Out of the 20 fisherman (including myself and my buddy) and 6 hours of fishing. The same guy caught 2 fish on live minnow's. I'm...

Haha amen to that! I'm thinking about hitting up niagara tomorrow, haha right after i posted a recommendation of not going to another fellow. Unfortunately I'm one stubborn mofo when it comes to the prospect of winter fish. Although the gas in my tank might only allow for the credit tomorrow...

    Niagara Bound

Well that sounds like a pretty kickass couple of days there my man!. But my solid recommendation would be to hold off on your trip until mid to late march. Reason being there just aren't too many fish at the whirlpool right now. I've been there a couple of times in the last week or so with no...

Sooo feeling adventurous and realistically having nothing to yesterday, i decided to check out the credit in hopes of some early thaw action. With the addition of the snow storm yesterday, the fishing was as slooow as molasses. No bites, nibbles, or takes. Looking at the water it reminded me of...
