dude... why do you need a new rod??? you got a BRAND new ugly stik which is MINT! just get a decent reel, try mine out its pretty nice. No point in wasting money

Marc and I (bvillefish2) went out to bowmanville creek last night to try out my new (first) rod/reel. I picked up some "yum" grub bait, the BRIGHT yellow ones, and we could still see them about 6" under the water with just moon light. I imagine they're pretty good for dark water, but it was too...

i've got a quantum recon, and its pretty sweet. cant say much for shimano though havent used them

last night wasnt to great either.... except for that beaver that you almost caught.... with your bobber :mrgreen:
