ya it was hamilton by some big smoke stack with a pip going into the lake that spot i got 3 nice browns that day to i think that was the last time i went there to fish to scared of what ill pull out next lol

my strangest looking fish was a channel cat from lake ontario that had no wiskers and it's tail was one from the top of it's head to under it's head almost like a eel i took it to the mnr office and they told me that it was a channel cat and not to eat it so i took it back and let it go man...

they are more of a scavenger fish like catfish we use small fish heads and cat food in a can to get them close also chicken liver or even large spawn bags mixed with fish guts most of the time there on the bottom

ya i caught them in lake superior and ontario hard fish to hook over 100ft deep thats the best way to get the big ones and there mouths a hard like a dog fish so you gotta hook them really good if you want to see them lol my biggest is 16lbs so far but i hear they get a lot bigger

ya they are also called freshwater ling cog and eelpout depending where you live to what they are called they love cold water and mostly feed at night here in bc we get them over 120 feet deep only what a pain in the a$$ lol but they are big and ugly lots of people say they taste like lobster...

it was hank wazchuck from the fishing show canadian sport fishing hank now has a show called fins n skins based in florida and im 100% sure it was him saw the episode that yous are talking about surprised he could get a new show after that happening!!!! as for bob hes a nice guy

nice fish we do have some huge salmon here in bc my biggest this year was 43lbs but the average is about 20 - 35 lbs and harder to keep on because of the single barbless hooks boy they can jump!!!

ya i met him when he was making a show on walleye on the pickerel river in the 90s always happy to talk about fishing and food lol

my favorite place to fish is where there is no one in site for miles but if you want a place id say okanagan lake

not knowing what your going to catch and when you do its a rush of joy knowing you didn't get skunked

ya tried that when i was a kid and thought it was true until i found out on my own that ever lake and fish has it's own time and mood lol

i love the real fishing show because of the fish eye view it shows what the fish are really doing so it makes the show more believable .i don't like those shows were they always have a fish on and it cuts right to the next fish and there already playing it

it depends on the lake if there is a good number of different sizes of the fish i am going for and if i have food in the fridge i let 90% go to get nice and big for the kids to catch.

l like to fish for the odd fish like burbot (ling / fresh water cod / eelpout ) and when its slow i like to fish for carp and northern pike minnow ( not pike) here in bc thats what we call our minnows because they look like a pike but no teeth or marks on the body just green/brown colour and...
