    Professor's Lake Brampton

Back a few years ago we saw some goldfish, carp and there have been sightings of an unwanted pet piranha as some idiot released him into the lake. Not sure if he's still around or if he became pike bait. Hope this helps. ;)

    alabama rig

Yes I've seen it used first hand but refused to actually try it out myself because I see it as a cheater tactic. It looks like a crib mobile for babys or an umbrella without the cloth. Usually 4 - 5 [3/8- or 1/2-oz jigheads baited with swimshads] are rigged to this contraption. It is best...

Ice fishing for lakers an whitefish

Send me a pm if you guys want to set up a group outing. I've used Bill's Ice Huts up in Virginia beach but haven't been back in quite some time. If he and his family are still running huts, they are A+ for service and anyone who holds a membership to any Union (Teamsters, ATU, UFCW, CAW...

    Bail Spring

I love it. And so simple to put together. Thinking I could even build one side ways in my garage(alias my office/mancave) as the wife calls it. Betting it would score me some browning points too. Thanks Grubman ;)

    Bail Spring

Thats pretty cool . Keep my stuff away from her and the little one. Lets see how she reacts when I tell her I'm building this above our bed so I can keep an eye on all my rods. Lol ;)

    Bail Spring

Try Bass Pro Shop @ Va ughan Mills. I know they repair everything but not sure if they have the parts on hand. Give them a call and speak to Geno in fishing. He's the most knowledgable guy in my opinion working there. See what he can do for you or to steer you in the right direction. (905)...

    Point and Shoot

Lol ... If you decide on the Canon, Grubman is totally right regarding batteries but I found a supplier on ebay with actual factory Canon batteries and got like three extended life ones delivered to my place in Toronto for like $20 or so bucks, thats it. You'll always have plenty of battery...

    Point and Shoot

I gotta agree with Grubman, my non biase experience with point and shoots goes to canon. The wife has an SD1000 or SD1200 can't remember but it's got awesome features with face/object recognition and super crisp photos. Does great Vid clips also. The only downfall is that it isn't waterproof...

    Where... GlowSticks?

Dollar Giant / Dollar Tree as they've changed names recently have the glow in the dark earings and different sized and coloured glow sticks for only a $1.25 for a dozen. My buddy and I just use a few pieces of dollar store scotch tape with a few wraps to the rod tip and voila. Good to go all...

    NEW Mapbook for Northern Ontario

Along with helping out on planning canoe outings Nado, if it's a chunk of crown land and you happen to say pitch a tent or pop up trailer and or do a launch. Is this allowed on crown land without any hassle as I'm new to this whole concept ? Anything helps. Thanks in advance, Rocco
