Thanks dirk and NADO & @ALN it was texas rigged! Good combination of both, but the key being the slow rod tip let down while reeling in slow(3-5times)( to keep the tube low in the water column) this attracts the fish to follow and get interested after the 3-5 reels let the tube fall and sit/hit...
