Wanted: One Man Flip Hut **FOUND**

I've been looking around for a one man flip as well. Really wanted the Clam Kenai Thermal. With the warm weather I've kinda put the idea on the back-burner. Deep water on simcoe looks pretty much like a lost cause.... There is a brand new one man Frabill Commando listed on the Jeej in Barrie...

    Ice fishing Weather

El nino's gonna keep it nice and warm all winter this year. Or at least I hope so. I had my fill of ice fishing for a bit after back to back extreme cold winters.

Anyone ever used " Fish Crisp?"

Take some perch fillets dip them in franks red hot, then coat in fish crisp. Fry em up in some sunflower oil. Boom! Your mind will be blown with delishosness. :)

Tell me why your wading boots are awesome. Or, aren't.

Picked up a pair of the Cabelas brand wading boots a little over a month ago now. No issues with them so far and I've already put quite a few km's on them. Not sure about the super long hual but so far I'm happy for 80 bucks I think I paid.

Seen a few mutant chinnys like that over the years... Bet it didn't fight that well. The one my buddy caught last year fought like a 2lb sucker. Gotta wonder how they can even feed with a tail like that.

Need info on buying a boat

You'd be okay if you're super careful. It will be hard on the tow vehicle though. Mine tow vehicle is rated for 1650lbs. My 14' with 25hp weighs in around 8-900lbs.

Need info on buying a boat

A fishing boat that you can tow with a 4 cylinder is more than doeable. Towing a boat capable of taking the family out for fun tubing etc behind a 4 cylinder is going to be pushing it... I tow a 14ft with my 4 banger grocery getter, but wouldn't want to tow more than that.

    Fresh River Cured Roe

You should use what works for you for sure.... Mostly don't touch my eggs with any thing clean em up a bit air dry package and freeze. Or if I want some to stay good for a month or 2 in the fridge they get a little sprinkle of straight borax, mostly au natural. My sacs are mostly done after 9...

    Fresh River Cured Roe

Rinsing eggs in river water is a bad idea...IMO It doesn't "cure" anything. The only thing it will do is harden your eggs up if they are loose.
