Any recommendations for bait or lures? I tried a 2 different wally divers, some different curly tails and a wacky rigged senko no luck other than little guys.

Tried fishing today with just some curly tail grubs to see what was biting. I got something but got caught in some structure. Looking at my leader I'm thinking it was something toothy. Will report later if I get anything.

Going to school in Chatham Right now and can see the Thames from my apartment window. I was looking at a map the other day and saw that the Oshawa creek runs all the way up by UOIT/DC and was wondering if i was allowed to fish that creek. As far as i know there wasn't a rule against it and mnr are closed for the day. Anyone know if i am allowed? It's pretty close to where I live.
