Are these really good for painting boats? I am in the business and just had a chat with a distributor up north and he told me he has a regular customer who buys our product for marine application. Our product is similar to any 2 part epoxy products that are primarily use for concrete coating applications. This never really crossed my mind but knowing that some applications we did are swimming pools I think it kinda makes sense. I will do a mini project and be on the lookout for a small canoe or boat in kijiji and try this out.

Dollorama 5 min Poxy $1.50 a tube, I use it all the time fixing little leaks and cracks on my old boats and other watercrafts. used it 3 years ago to attacks a plastic sheet to the back of my dump boat so My tranceduser would stick. used it to fill in a few holes as well,

I find epoxy is too pricey unless you do the dollar store option (which works well as liger said). For heavy applications I'd use a vinylester with pigments to colour them. I painted my WHOLE boat with a can of hi gloss painters touch by rustoleum. I swear by it. Mind you my boat is trailered and never says in water unless in use. But Yea your question could be answered with a yes
