2010 Regs Hard Copy

Does anyone know if the 2010 Hardcopy of the MNR Regs is out yet?

Don't even see one online yet. Only the updates to the zones.

Called the M and the online version should be up in the next week or so and the hard copy by the end of December. It is in print right now.

Usually pick mine up when shopping around for a xmas gift to myself this time of year :mrgreen: I'm interested in the list of exceptions to the FMZ 17 regs changes.

I was considering building a small ice shack at the cottage this winter, however, seeing as its the first year open to ice fishing, I will use a portable tent-like structure until I can observe what the locals are doing.

I don't think I am going to make a hut because I can just open the barn doors to my boat house and sit in there a mere few metres away from my hole/holes, with the propane heater on....LOL

Apparantly there are huts scattered all around the lake on shore just waiting for safe ice so they can be taken out. I was up there last weekend and there was no ice in sight. That can change pretty fast with some cold temps but I would say still a few weeks away. Here are some pics from last weekend.

Will try and take some shots this weekend if I see anything as I am heading up.

The ice is deemed safe on Rice Lake when they mark the snowmobile trails and earlier this year it didn't happen until January 10th of 2009. That is still 3 and 1/2 weeks away. Could be sooner or later, only mother nature knows.

I have one. Got it at lebaron.

But I think all places should have them by now. It's mid january 8)

They are everywhere...just go to a tackle/bait store.
I think I got mine from CT a while ago
