Share your fishing highs and downs of the year.

This 6 lb bow caught today completed my this year's fishing as I will not be able to do more till New Year (travel, etc). Caught some 30 bows, 40 salmons and some hundred other species. Was a fantastic year, lots of learning, meeting some great anglers, a few from this forum and experienced some outdoor moments that I would not exchange for anything.

Nice Rainbow, I caught a stocked one in a small creek for a special no licence day this year probably a 3 pounder, measured 46 cm. Good 1st year for you, hope you find time to continue in 2012.

Thought update this, to change the mood from "steelhead insanity" ugliness.

Last year I decided to keep record of every fish I take by logging the number fo fish caught, approcximate weight, place, and lure/bait used. Here it summs it up: (170 fish caught, 23 kept - including 10 perch- and 147 released). that is 170 strogn shots of Adrenaline! How can you resist getting addicted to this :)) Have a happy fishing year in 2012
