April 25th
6:00am-10:00am
Cloudy with slight breeze
Temp: 12 Degrees
My friends and I went to Adeline Park to try out our luck for crappies on April 25th.Arrived at 6:00 O'clock and to my amazement there was only one guy there fishing. The whole day was basically cloudy and once a while the sun would break through the clouds. Temperature was around 12 Degrees with slight cross breeze blowing to the north. Around 6:10 i finally got hit, and was ecstatic that I was able to catch my first crappie ever, Now I can say i caught crappie before. I was able to pull in about 2-3 fish a spot, then i would move and pull in another 2-3 each area. By the end of the day i was able to haul in 11 crappies, and my friend was able to catch 1, Also his first time for crappie.
Equipment: Ultra Light Rod 6lb line and using 1/16 oz jig with 2" Neon green tube on a slip float.
