Ahoy fellow fly creators,
I've recently published an app on the google store that some of you may be interested in. In a nutshell its an app that lists a bunch of recipes with step-by-step instructions/pictures on how to tie them. The app contains a listing of saltwater (currently none) and freshwater patterns(19 currently). I'm constantly adding new flies as best as I can but since I'm not stealing other peoples images its taking me some time to build out the database.
I was hoping some of the OFF members may be able to try out the app and give me some feedback/suggestions for improvement.
My goal is for this app to be a 'source of truth' for fly patterns when there's no internet connection available.
My main issue is that I currently don't have a large database of fly patterns (only 19 currently)
--I'm tying them as best I can but I'm not the quickest/best there is.
--I've recently added a form on the site so everyone can add their own patterns if they'd like (www.fly-library.com/server/addFly.php), hopefully this will help me build out the content and make it available to a larger audience.
The app is 1$ and this may dissuade some people from purchasing which I completely understand - but hopefully you guys will be able to give me some feedback/suggestions on how I can improve it and make it the source-of-truth on the internet for fly patterns. If you purchase the app and decide you dislike it, or its no good - i have absolutely no problems with refunding the $1 I just hope you'd let me know what you think needs improving!
The main website is www.fly-library.com and currently the app is only available on the Android Store
Lemme know what you think, good or bad it all helps!
Thanks again and tight Lines,
