I was out on a boat about a month ago and we got two in 100' of water and I think we got em 40' down.

This was out near bronte area.

Here is a pic of the fish I caught and the boat it was caught on.

These guys do amazing charters and that fish was actually on the small side of what they normally catch as we were a little bit early to catch them in the area we were in, if you are looking for a chill guy who gets exstremely excited about catching big fish these guys are worth checking out! My dad went out with him for four hours a few weeks later and I think they got 7 salmon and 2 rainbows.

Nice lookin' fish. On average, I wonder how early in the season the females become full of skein/eggs? Months or weeks before they run? I'd assume if you catch a female out in the lake now, she'd have one or the other.

well the one I caught was too young to spawn and it was filled with tiny eggs, I wonder if the eggs develop throughout their lifespan or if young females produce infertile eggs every year until they are mature enough to spawn?

That's a good question. I read that once they enter the rivers, "Their stomach is no longer needed and it begins to disintegrate internally - leaving more room for the developing eggs and sperm." This doesn't preclude the eggs from beginning to develop in immature females, but makes it seem more likely that egg development is coincident with the spawning year.
