Heading up to just North of Cooks Bay tomorrow morning, trying to figure out if I will trailer up the snowmobiles, or if I am walking out.

Not worth burning the sliders out, but if it is worth it I will take them.

Any info would be appreciated!

No snow on simcoe you will see small patches here and there about 18" of black ice. Seen tons of guys racing there sleds around last weekend. Pretty foolish must have tons of cash to replace them sliders haha. If you got a wheeler id take it out.

Yeah checked conditions just before. Thats in cooks bay. Can almost drive a small car out on the ice.
Im headed to beaverton tomorrow. Just picked up an ultra light ice rod for my pin. Sht, I didnt even think about the line I have on. I can use whatever, right? I'll just tie on a fluro leader?

Yeah plus it wont be that cold tomorrow. Just add the fluro and your mint.. You comin out with us Sunday? Matt was saying you might or something.

I might but its going to be a game time decision, if you know what I mean! Which lake ya headed to?

From the pictures i've seen from today, you don't want to take the sled out just yet unless you have ice scratchers or whatever they're called hooked up.

Depending how far out you're going, it's a pretty easy walk with cleats on.

limited out today on kemp from first light until 9, lakers both around 10 pounds and whites around 5, awesome day out there, jut get away from the crowds and you'll get fish, around 10 inches where I was fishing but i was deep.

ya for sure, i just hate it when people see that you're catching fish and all they're doing is sitting on a bucket and start moving in on you lol, thats when its time to move!
