Any unexpected incidents?

Not to defend Caleb, but perhaps we shouldn't be so "critical" of his actions until we know the "full story"!

My opinion is yes, a parent should always be taking care of their children, keeping their best interests and safety in mind, but accidents do happen.

Playing devils advocate, who's to say when his daughter didn't suffer a head injury, had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital and is now not on life support?

Some people cant afford medical bills and the special care they require so they may resort to suing.

I am hoping this isn't the case but, anything is possible!

Alternatively, If you are just looking to make a quick buck because you should have been watching your daughter better, then I am sorry that should be on no one but yourself.

Just my $0.02, or is it $0.05 now with the removal of the penny?

Please stay away from the water for the rest of your life fool.

And this is why municipalities post "No fishing" or "No trespassing" signs on public ponds or waterways. City don't want to be responsible for people who can't be responsible for their own actions...so they just put up a sign to prevent you from being irresponsible. If anything should happen, you were breaking the city bylaw and the city does not need to take responsibility.

Caleb, you are the parent. You are responsible for your own children's safety. Simple as that.
