Anyone also GOLF?

just wondering if any fisher person out there also golf?

i just started last year and i must say its a lot more fun than watching it on TV.

everything is more fun than watcing from TV.

Best example is... TV Fishing show is one of the more boring TV shows ever! lol!!

i've hit the driving range two times in 2-3 years.

I love golf, watching and playing. I admit that I usually will only watch a tournament if Tiger is playing. In fact, Tiger is the reason that I started playing. I bought his book "How I play golf" and taught myself from the book. After 2 seasons, I'm now switching from left handed to right handed. lol. (I got a set of right handed cobra irons for $10 at a garage sale last summer) :mrgreen:

It nice to see so many people enjoying the same activities.

i got a set of hand me downs from a friend which was kinda how i got started. when i get better i'll buy my own set.

but i always run into a problem.....$$$ for fishing equipment or golf equipment.

I golfed for about 6 years...it ate into my fishing time huge, so I decided to give up golf and opt for more fishing, I must say I am alot happier!

Ya im pretty much a driving range golfer, lol. I play every once in a while with some boys on the course but i find i get frustrated, so smashing them at a driving range is more fun, and less aggravating.
Hope I get to do it this summer, if its raining out theirs a driving range thats covered by my place and its a nice way to kill and hour bucket of balls is like $5 so a couple buckets later and your arms are falling off.

I did for about 4 summers but stopped... now I ususally golf only once per summer and that's at the company golf tournament.. other than that.. it's a lack of time issue.

I do enjoy playing though.

Ya im the same way, usually on the days when my buddies go its so nice out and they cal me and if im not working im going fishing,lol.
I cant understand the issue with time, who wants to get a hole in one when you could be catching a lunker!
