Mr Bow Man introduced me to glass and i'm loving it!

Good to hear. I could never find a connection with graphite rods when i tried to fish them so more often than not my graphite rod stays stowed away when i hit the water. Picked up a circa 1970s Hardy Fibalite 7wt glass rod to go and hunt steelies with in the upcoming months. It still had the plastic on the cork!

Shawarma, if they are anything like there old glass series they cast like a dream. I think I will pick up a 4 weight, I only have 1 four weight so I guess I need one more.

I have a couple Cabelas CGr rods. They are sweetness, glad they brought them back, e-glass is prime. Have a 6'2" 2wt and a 6'6" 4wt. The 4wt sees the most use. I also have the inbetween model CGt but it is alot faster than the CGr. I believe they used s-glass on those models. Similar to the Orvis superfine glass series in terms of action.
