Anyone here from Mississauga?

Help Support Ontario Fishing Forums:

Just came back from Aquitaine on Monday. I usually fish off the dock areas, but only get tiny crappie (biggest was 6") and Catfish. So on Monday I decided to head out to the less accessible areas around the northern part of the lake, and yes, there are bass! I used 4" Senko worm next to some cat's tails and nailed this 12-13" Largemouth about 8 feet from where I was standing. I was about to grab it on the mouth but it unhooked and rolled back down into the lake. A bit further North from there i kept catching 6" Largemouths on Gulp Alive 1.5" grub and Berkley trout worms.

Im usually fishing on weekends, so if anyone wants to meet up, feel free to drop me a PM.

OK SO checked out BOTH Aquatine and Promenade by launch A today... used buoys, plastic green worms, and spinners... spent about 1-2 hours at each site and came up with nothing. I guess its not in season yet, @ aquatine saw a bunch of kids fishing for baby catfish, anyone know if there are fish in that fenced off area?

I went to Acquatinie on Fathers day and my boys caught some baby bullhead and I got a perch myself I also seen Crappie and sunfish caught.

I know this not exactly Mississauga but it is near enough. I went by Centennial park yesterday and seen people fishing there. Centennial is located in Etobicoke just off Eglinton. There was quite a number of anglers fishing the Pond. I believe they may have been going after Carp possibly. But could not provide more info at this time as I did not go by the lake as i was there for the Rib fest.
