i'm thinking of buying a pair of polerised sunglasses and i was wonder which i should get if i sould get them at all, i also need a bigger tacklebox and would like some advice on that too.

thanks in advance for any help you can provide

i've been told the polarized work well, ive worn them before n they effect everything, cellphones, screens, you name it, so id say yes, i know im gunna get a pair as well. lol.

polarized sunglasses are VERY worth it. Trust me.
You can see teh difference very easily. They reduce glare and allow you to see so much more in the water.

This comes in handy when sight fishing.... such as with island pike.

Also, you can see follows from fish more easily and can react appropriately.

Are there certain brands to be looking at, or a certain price range to aim for thats the best for what your spending?

glass lenses are ~$25, the rest of the price is the brand name.
i lost glases that cost $200, bough ones for $50 now, dont see the difference.

Saves getting a hook in the eye as well...you be surprised how many eye injuries occure.
Big YES to polarized glass...worth every penny.

hey porter, before you go to some place like BPS check out a shoppers drugmart or something where you can get some good polaroid glasses for way less, everything by polaroid is polarized

EBAY is all I can say for the best price, picked up two sets for each around 12 bux each. The best glasses ever so I order a second pair.

A day on the water without them == head ake the next day for me anyways. And reg glasses are not the same!

But I really don't use them to spot fish it's all about the head akes for me.

" lost glases that cost $200," Your nuts, somethings I agree money == quality but not always.

I'm def getting a couple pair, but I wouldn't mind a pair of Oakley ones,lol...haha 200$ later, i think not,lol..:D

it was a gift, and when they fell in the water i didnt feel bad.
i felt bad at bps when i saw the price :D

Polarized glasses are definitly worth it I never fish without them, even turned back once to get them cause I forgot them in my other car. Needless to say now I have 3 pairs 1 always in the boat, I like the $20 rapala ones from le baron, the $12.99 rapala ones(all one plastic frame) are too cheap and can break easy.

The 20 dollar Rapalas work just like the rest of them The real difference bwtn a 20 dollar and a 100 dollar pair is the thickness of the polarization. It is a thin film over the glasses,,,,cheaper models will wear off faster when cleaning compared to the higher priced ones. I myself have a couple pairs H2O Optics- grey and amber lenses....and totally love em!

CDN tire has them "$20 rapala ones "

I meant lebaron sells 2 rapala glasses one for $12.99 the other for $20, the $20 one is better made. Walmart also has them for $16.99 but I think these are the cheaper ones as well.

i'm going to get a floating pair because it would suck to lose them in the water right at the beggining of a long day of fishing.

YAWN are your polerized glasses perscription, if not why do no sunglasses=head ake?
