Hi everyone!
Me and my friend plan to go humber river near the dam(is it close to the old mill river?) tomorrow.(for bass)
We are thinking about using soft bait(not live worm) such as cray fish and worm.
Is this too late for trying bass fishing? If it is not, can anyone suggest us good spot for bass close to oldmill river?

Ps. I will post about our result after we come back. So plz gve me an advise and answer about my question!!

Go south of the old mill. If you are lucky you can go for carp and the odd pike. And like I've been saying the salmon are in there

nope not at all, I think it starts to slow down as it gets colder but many people argue that it gets better. Either way I got a nice 2lb bass last weekend out of the conestoga river when I tossed tubes for 30 minutes after some unsuccessful carp fishing which isnt a bad fish per half hour ratio on the conestoga.

Thanks for you guys attention.
Unfortunantly we couldnt catch anything due to weather condition (i know this cant be excuse :( ). We tried to find a place to fish but we failed. We didnt have a car. May be this is the reason y we failed. Anyway sorry to bring up with nothing even though u guys tried to helped us a lot.
I will post about our trip to humber river soon.

I know when I go to a new spot myself I end up exploring too long rather then parking and either walking or doing what I need to do to get my line in the water.. It happens with new spots... remember for next time and get your line in the water and fish your heart out... don't wait for one thing to work... switch it up.. believe the fish is there and just you need the right flavor.... I catch decent lm bass and pan size crappie at a small pond not 2 minutes from my place... everyone things Im insane fishing there but I learned the area well I have them on clock...... LM this time of year will be deep in the veg.... toss a frog on top and let them hit right though the weeds.... or they are on drop offs... (thermalclines) *spelling getting chunky for the cold season.

I've fished the Humber River a lot, it good for Salmon and Trout when the season is on. You will also get some carp and a ton of Suckers. Bass??? I would say, don't waste your time. If you want to fish the GTA for from Bass, Try Loafers Park (Large Mouth) and Norton Park (Large & Small Mouth) for a start.
