But If you want to get rid of them gold fish quick...invite some "white bucketeers". they would almost clean up that pond of gold fish faster than any predatory fish you can think of.

I don't realy care about them I figure they will make a nice stable food source for the bass check out the video posted earlier they love them with that much food I should have some massive lunkers

did you read my ENTIRE post? i said pickerel are walleye in CANADA, where pickerel is the common name for them.
I did. And Pickerel is a common misnomer for Walleye, I grew up calling Walleye, Picks. And I still do at times, but Walleye and Pickerel are like apples and oranges. 2 different things. It doesn't really matter what country you are in. A true Pickerel is related to a Pike and Musky and has the same "duckbill" A Walleye is related to the Perch and looks like a big Perch with teeth.
All that I am trying to say is that what everyone calls a Pick is not a Pick in reality. As I said before, go to the MNR regs and look for Pickerel seasons and limits. You won't find them, you will find Walleye however.
I'm not good with computers or I would post pics. If you are catching Pickerel in Quite, I would suspect they are Walleye and if you are catching them near Sarnia then they are definitely Walleye. I'm from Sarnia and have never seen a Pick there in 40 years.
I know Walleye will continue to be called Picks, I'm only trying to put the truth out there.
When I go to a restaurant and order Pickerel Diner, I know I am getting Walleye.

Also bullhead are small, catfish are huge and aggressive, maybe you can get bullheads since they rarely grow more than half a pound.

Browns are actually very aggressive species. they are originally from Europe and they are the most common salmanoid in Ontario, ratio of browns to rainbows are 2:1, so it would be a bad choice anyways, regardless of the depth of the pond. get some tree stumps for your pond. in usa they have man made bass lake and they are massive bass in them with out anything else, so i guess it will work out going with bass alone. it would just be more variety for you if you added stuff. rock bass, crappie, minnows. sticking to my guns with baby musky. maybe even brook trout, but i would avoid any salmanoid as they are usually aggressive.

i call walleye pickerel, always have, always will, its not going to change. used to catch em down in front of the yacht club by the water treatment centre

sounds good, but why not keep the cost down, i am sure it will take more than one try for your dreams to come true. cause if you have so many gold fish, and they are semi bottom feeders, they will eat all the bass eggs. get a pickerel, they are top feeders like bass and will clear out most the gold fish without hurting the eggs as much. just get one, it wont reproduce and it won't get too big to eat the bigger bass. not sure if this will work, but if you release them near a structure, they might avoid traveling too much around and will find a niche. so they can be in different areas as their feeding zone, i am sure the pickerel will follow the gold fish that are slow and visible vs bass that are green and camouflaged.

I'm not too concerned about the bass eggs their will be 10 breeding groups in the pond and the females will protect their nest as for my wife being a keeper yes she is
If I could post the pick of her perching from my phone I would but it won't let me

You and many others. Like I said I still call Walleyes, Picks. I am only trying to educate.

This is my beautiful wife pearching on scugog

good, you got permission.

also how big are the bass you are getting? i am not familiar with bass mortality from juvenile to adulthood.

Also i was thinking about it, getting random fish from people may not be a good idea, since you can't tell which diseases they carry. buy it from a tested/disease free source. cause i can bring you tons of minnow/fish from near my house, but they are full of parasites.

Lets just say the other fish came for a more wild source the bass are going to be 10 inch just big enought to start breeding

that is pretty big, they should do fine, i thought you were bringing 4 inch fry. came accross this site, so informative http://www.umpquavalleybassmasters.com/bassbook.htm
