Bass Pro - Price Match?

Hi guys,

Do you know if Bass Pro does price matching?

I want to pick up a Fenwick HMX spinning rod. They are $79.99 at BassPro and $64.99 at Sail. I'd pick it up from Sail but they don't have the exact rod I'm looking for and the closest one is in Quebec. They do have it at basspro though.

Please let me know.

unless the product is exactly the same, i don't if they'd price match it. is it the length difference or model difference? and they aren't listed on either site to compare

Why not see if Sail will get the one you want in for you? Or see if they will get the one in Quebec sent to your local store. If not just buy the one at BP it's only $10.00.

looking at fenwicks site, there a price difference of $10 depending on length/action/lure weight

I've had BPS price match a Navionics chip so they should price match a rod as long as rods are exactly the same!

Yea I know it's only $15 but if I can save it, why not? If it was a local shop that needed my help, I wouldn't mind.

I know that they are different prices depending I. The length and action but the one that I want is $64.99 at sail and $79.99 at bass pro. Unfortunately neither of them have the product listed on their websites.

It's actually priced very well at Le baron too. I'll call sail to see if they can ship it from another location or order it. If that fails, I'll see if bass pro will price match. They can call up sail and ask the price. If that fails, le barons it is.
