The Bass Pro Spring Fishing Classic is starting tomorrow.

I got the flyer 2 weeks ago in the mail and have been eying out the deals.

Anyone see anything good or plan on going out and picking up some new gear for the upcoming season?

I'm going to pick up a new Abu Garcia Revo S baitcaster for my new Veritas.

Went today. Picked up my Revo S with a $25 discount from the reel trade in. Also grabbed some flipping jigs and lipless crankbaits.

Got a spinner bait, some biots for fly tying, some plastics, hooks and a few rapalas. Looked at some rods, but didn't end up buying anything. Just a quick notice, Dave Mercer will be Bass Pro Shops, tomorrow (Sunday) at 1 doing a seminar or something...

I was there on Sunday saw a few of the guys putting on their presentation & talked to Derek Strub, Simon Frost & got 1 of Mercer's Shimano Crucial Flipp'n sticks for having the closest birthday & listening to know it was a Flipp'n stick, a nice little bonus, stocked up on KVD Spinnerbaits, Line, Net & other odds & ends.
