Materials i use: leader line, bobber stopper that came with this bead set (very small), beads and hooks. pliers

Insert the bobber stopper onto the line, from hook side, just in case it nicks your leader:

Insert the line through the bead. make sure you do it from swivel side, so the bobber stopper is coming in from the hook side. reason is just in case you damage the line while using pliars you waste as little line as you can.

squeeze the bobber stopper into the hole of the bead, till it goes fully inside, some cases 1/2 millimeter might stick out. don't worry about that.

As you can see, you can adjust the egg anywhere on your line, it does not damage the line:

This is how Pline recommends it:

The bristles from dollar store silcone brushes work just as good.

i use peg it's, toothpicks, and bastry brush from dollar store works just as good. some are thicker then the beads but just clip them on an angle and they fit straight thru. Intersting method klik never seen that one before either. id save those bobber stoppers for my slip floats. go to a dollar store buy a bastry brush and your set lol

Hey klik thanks for that tip. i never thought of using the rubber bobber stops and i have a lot that i don't even use as bobber stops. that's a big set of beads. i don't see those on Lebarons or tackle shops around my area. Is that available in BPS?

yes bass pro has them go to the section where the float rods are. Bass pro, sails, and any small tackle shop that has trout equipment shoud have beads.

That is PLINE bead set, i bought it from centerpinangling.com Jim is a good guy. Also the bobber stops were not meant to be used like that on the picture of the packaged. i just used it more creative and invented my own way.

Klik tjat is good idea bur i love CJR's "bristles from dollar store" idea better for one dollar you get about 30 pegs and that is cheap.
I was using toothpicks but just stole bristle from my wife :)
I dip toothpicks for couple day in Pautzke Nectar i believe that gives bead a bit of aroma :)

you can recycle your bobber stoppers. again, i always reuse them when i use it for actual bobber. the stoppers came with the beads. if i lose the bead, that is a different story. :D

thanks for sharing klik ;) , another option to try to keep them beads in place would end up costing quite a bit if you end up buying those all the time though

50 of them come with the package, 720 beads. if you are planning to lose 50 leaders with out recycling any of the stopper, then you are for sure right.

I got your point and you are right. I just tried my wifes red bristle and works perfect. It ads red blood dot to it :)

I have use pegs, round tooth picks and bobber stops, I've tried them all for a long time and honestly toothpicks are the easiest to use. When you use pegs you have to cut them which is annoying, if you use tooth picks you can just snap them away from your line and your done...and since they cost about $1 for 500 its by far the most cost effective. Bobber stops work well but take too long to set up and cost more.

I always used toothpicks because of that, ease of use but it happened to me couple times that they damaged my leader and lost fish because of that. Last night tried silicone pastry brush bristle and it works beautifully. Plus you can easily move bead up and down without damaging the leader.

I fumbled my only peg in the river and ended up sticking a tiny twig in. Worked fine, caught a fish, another time just ran the line through twice and granny knotted it, worked fine. whatever works.Good use of stops though.

Keep telling myself I'll grab peg its or the brush, never ends up happening  I tie the bead on my leader, damages the leader but thats kosher with me.

Probably right, I don't have to worry 'cause I don't hook up monsters like you Dozer

I peg them with The silicone brush bristles too. They work great and 50-60 for a buck! You can beat that!
